Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy is an exam used to detect changes or abnormalities in the large intestine (colon) and rectum. During a colonoscopy, a long, flexible tube (colonoscope) is inserted into the rectum. A tiny video camera at the tip of the tube allows the doctor to view

ERCP

ERCP is a procedure that allows your doctor to see the small tubes inside your body called the pancreatic and bile ducts. These tubes are near your stomach. They carry digestive juices from your liver and pancreas to the intestines.

cap

Capsule Endoscopy

Capsule endoscopy is a procedure that uses a tiny wireless camera to take pictures of your digestive tract. A capsule endoscopy camera sits inside a vitamin-size capsule you swallow. As the capsule travels through your digestive tract, the camera takes thousands of pictures that are transmitted to a recorder you wear

hydrogen

Breath Test

Hydrogen breath tests help to diagnose either intolerance to sugars or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). The test measures how the amount of hydrogen present in your breath changes after you consume a sugar solution. There’s usually very little hydrogen in your breath.

H.Pylori

Helicobacter pylori tests are used to detect a Helicobacter pylori ( H.Pylori) infection in the stomach and upper part of the small intestine (duodenum). H. pylori can cause peptic ulcers.

Ultrasonography

High-frequency sound waves. Ultra-sound waves can be bounced off tissues by using special devices. The echoes are then converted into a picture called a sonogram.

X-Ray

X rays are electromagnetic radiation that differentially penetrates structures within the body and creates images of these structures on photographic film or a fluorescent screen. These images are called diagnostic x rays. Diagnostic x rays are useful in detecting abnormalities within the body. This process is painless.
